1.linking final consonant sounds to initial vowel sounds

前一个单词以辅音结尾，后一个单词以元音开头

2.r-linking

In a sense group if the preceding word ends with the letter "r" and the following word starts with a vowel sound, then "r" is usually pronounced.

以辅音字母r或re结尾的单词与紧跟其后的单词词首元音相连时必须保留r或re的发音。

（例如ear中的r的发音和read中的r的发音方式是不一样的，实在不知道怎么讲只能说前者类似于“额”的发音后者类似于“弱”的发音方式，两字均念轻声！这一点中就需要将前一种发音变为后一种发音来与后一个单词的开头元音连起来念）
