go to bed 去睡觉，go to the bed 到床边去

英语中，类似bed, school, hospital，prison 等词，如果前面不用冠词，就应该从这些词的功能这个角度去理解

go to school 上学

go to hospital 去看病，住院

而如果在前面加了个the, 这时就狭义地指代这个名词所指的地方了

go to the school 到学校去

go to the hospital 去医院

1、意思不同

go to bed，意思是上床睡觉。

go to the bed，意思是到床边去。

2、侧重点不同

go to the bed，只是做了去床边的动作，并不一定马上就睡觉，可能还会玩手机或者看书之类的。

go to bed，不是指具体的bed，而是抽象意义上的 “上床睡觉”。
